Gutter Repair in NW Georgia

Most gutter problems are fixable without ripping the whole system out. Sagging runs can be re-pitched and re-anchored. Separated joints can be resealed. Pulled hangers can be replaced. The trick is catching it before the overflow has rotted the fascia underneath — at that point, repair turns into replacement.

We come out, walk the home, and tell you honestly what's actually wrong. If it's a 30-minute fix, we say so. If it's a sign of a bigger problem (rotted fascia from years of overflow, an undersized system that can't handle GA rain, downspouts dumping in the wrong place), we say that too.

Honest assessment first. Most repairs done in one visit. Replacement only when it's actually needed.

Common gutter repairs we handle:

  1. Re-pitch sagging runs — Loosen the hangers, set the run back to a 1/4" fall per 10 feet, re-anchor with new hidden hangers.
  2. Reseal separated joints — Strip the failed sealant, prep the joint, apply gutter-grade silicone, water-test before we leave.
  3. Replace damaged hangers — Old spike-and-ferrule replaced with hidden hangers; loose hangers re-anchored into solid fascia.
  4. Patch pinhole leaks — Small holes from rust or impact patched with gutter-grade aluminum and sealant.
  5. Replace damaged sections — Wind-damaged or impact-damaged sections cut out and replaced with seamless aluminum, color-matched to the existing run.
  6. Fascia repair — Soft, rotted fascia cut out and replaced with new wood before re-hanging gutters — common after years of overflow from clogged runs.
Gutter repair in progress on a NW Georgia home

We'd rather repair your gutters than replace them — when repair is the right call. Our default is to walk the home, identify what's actually wrong, and quote the smallest job that solves the problem. If we tell you it needs replacement, it's because we've ruled out the alternatives.

How it works

Sagging Run + Leaking Joint in Chatsworth

A Chatsworth homeowner called about water dripping behind the gutter onto her front porch. The back side of the gutter had pulled away from the fascia, and a joint had failed.

How we handled it

  • Diagnosis: Walked the run, identified the failed joint and the pulled-away section. Quoted on the spot.
  • Re-anchor: Loosened the existing hangers, re-pitched the run to a proper fall, anchored with three new hidden hangers.
  • Reseal: Stripped the failed joint, prepped both sides, applied gutter-grade silicone.
  • Test: Flushed the whole run with the hose, watched the water move cleanly into the downspout.

We have three big oaks and a couple of pines, and I was cleaning my gutters four times a year. Matt installed the no-clog guards, threw in the free roof and gutter cleaning, and I haven't been back up the ladder since. Worth every dollar.

  • Honest Insurance Help After Hail

My adjuster said the roof looked fine. Matt walked it, found 20+ bruise hits, documented every one with photos, and met the adjuster on-site. Claim was approved for a full replacement. He didn't pressure me into using him for the work — that's why I did.

Replace if you've got widespread leaks at every joint (sectional gutters), rotted fascia, or undersized runs that overflow even when clean.

  • Small repairs (one or two joints, one sagging section) typically run $150–$300. Larger repairs (multiple sections, hanger replacement, fascia patches) run $300–$700. We quote flat-rate before any work starts.
